  • The entrance to the University parking garage is located directly across the street on Maryland Ave.
  • If parking, don't forget your ticket for validation
  • Exit the parking structure from the first floor and cross Maryland Ave for entry into the building
  • Note: Please do NOT drive to experimental sessions

  • The lab is accessible via:
    • CTA Red Line (55th/Garfield Stop) and Green Line (55th/Garfield Stop),
    • Bus Routes (#55, #6, #19B2, #4, #2), and
    • Metra (57th Street Metra Station).
  • Most Common Transit Route
    • Red or Green Line Train to 55th/Garfield Stop
    • Cross 55th Street to #55 Bus Heading East
    • Exit bus at Cottage Grove
    • Walk 4 Blocks South on Cottage Grove and take a left on 58th Street
    • Walk 1 block, taking right onto Maryland Ave.
  • Reimbursement for Public Transit will be provided

Directions Once In Building

  • Enter building through large, revolving door under awning reading '5837 S Maryland'
  • Tell security you have an appointment with Dr. Andrea King (Rm L470, Phone 4-3878)
  • Take a RIGHT at the security desk to proceed down the L-Corridor
  • Take first LEFT, then take L-Elevator (immediately around corner) to the 4th Floor
  • Exit the elevators, turn right, take another right through double doors, then proceed to Rm L470.
